Leadership Shifts —Embracing your “own” Perceptions

Perceptions—refers to the ability to see beneath the outward form to the underlying, often hidden, reality.

A Leadership Shift in one’s own perceptions, refers to a significant change or awakening in your understanding, your perception, and connection to “classified” wisdom and “deeper” levels of knowledge.

This involves a transformation in how you view the world, your purpose, your team, and deeper dimensions of “light!” (wisdom and insights)

I John I:5 God is light, and in Him is NO darkness, or falsehood—at all! He is absolute perfection and truthfulness!

Leadership shifts can be accompanied by new insights, a deeper sense of purpose, and a heightened awareness of one's own potential.

WHEN YOU SEE THINGS DIFFERENT, YOUR OWN LIFE BECOMES MORE ENGAGED!

For "faith-driven individuals," changing how you see the world and others, involves a significant shift in understanding, guided by faith and God's viewpoint.

The principle of "renewing your mind" (Romans 12:2) is central to shifting perception. This means actively choosing to focus on scriptural views and ignoring worldly views, which often go against God's will.

Renewing the mind and shifting your perspective requires an openness to God's guidance and a willingness to consider perspectives different from your own.

This involves letting go of rigid beliefs or biases and embracing richer, more profound understanding of reality, that go beyond a surface-level.

The ability to shift is more than just starting something new; it involves grasping the deeper spiritual truths, principles, and applications found within the scriptures, reflection, and prayerful consideration; and having the faith and trust to change direction when you’re already on a particular path.

In a world that constantly changes, your resilience and openness to the Spirit's guidance is vital for your growth.

Impact on Behavior

A change in your perception “should” lead to a change in behavior and actions. This includes acting with respect and patience, thus reflecting God's character, in any environment.

Spiritual Discernment

Shifting perception can be seen as a process of developing spiritual discernment, which is the ability to understand God's will and your purpose, within His will. This involves seeking God's wisdom and relying on Him for guidance.

Examples in Scripture

The Bible provides examples of individuals whose perceptions were challenged and transformed, such as Peter's encounter with Cornelius (Acts 10); signifying that God’s grace is not limited to you and your “kind,” but extends to all who are “receptive.”

This was a “shift” in Peter's understanding of who is acceptable, and paved the way for the inclusion of Gentiles (someone outside the covenant or lineage of Abraham), into the early church.

Shifting Perspective on Challenges

Shifting perception can also involve a change in how you view challenges in life, recognizing that God can use these experiences for growth and transformation.

Living a Life of I M P A C T

Shifting your perception, involves actively seeking ways to make a positive impact on the lives of others, reflecting the character of God in the world.

This involves not only renewing the mind, but challenging your own preconceived notions, and aligning your thoughts with your purpose, ultimately leading to a more profound understanding of oneself, and others.

The way you interpret your experiences creates your reality—and embraces a new viewpoint, that can pave your way for a richer and more meaningful life.

PERCEPTION CREATES YOUR OWN REALITY!
