God's Word is His Bond!

God’s Word is His bond!

It is His “binding” agreement; His “covenant,” He has obligated Himself to do it!

The God of the UNIVERSE

In Isaiah 55:11, God reminds us that every word that goes forth from His mouth shall not return to Him void. In other words, God doesn't make empty promises. If He has given you a word on something, you can trust Him. So stand on the Word He's given—after all, His Word is His bond!

If someone's word is their bond, (we all have heard the expression), they will always keep what they promised! It means that that person has declared that he will never breach, break or go back on what He has promised!

the God of the Universe tells us that His word is His BOND!

In John 16:12-15 we learn that it is the the Holy Spirit who directs us to, and through His word. When the Holy Spirit comes He takes what He has heard from Jesus and reveals this to us.

This is the “RHEMA”the revealed word to us for our situation. It is the exact word He sends to us, for that moment, that circumstance.

Let’s examine some of the promises of the Word of God, which are YES and AMEN:

  • That in blessing, I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea

  • no weapon that is formed against you will prosper

  • Freedom from addictions

  • deliverance from sin and evil

  • financial provision

  • hope for lost and hurting family and friends

  • overcoming depression

  • recovering a marriage

  • good health

  • healing

  • being free from fear and anxiety

  • strength

…and many more, are the blessings and gifts that God promises to provide for those who love Him by keeping His commandments (word).

God’s word—not my word, not your word—but the word of God!

BY FAITH…this faith, that is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see. This is why the ancients were commended. By this faith, understand that the universe to which you are a part and live in, was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen became visible.

• Sarah even though she was barren and beyond the proper childbearing age, was enabled (received strength), to bear a child when she was past the age, because she considered Him faithful who had promised.

• Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac on the altar. He had received a promise of an heir, and was ready to offer his one and only son! He reasoned that God could raise Him back from the dead. When called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, without knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the promised land as a stranger in a foreign country. He lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.

• Enoch was taken alive, so that he did not see death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

• Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did, and was commended as righteous and given God’s approval of his gifts. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

• Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in godly fear built an ark to save his family. By faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

• Moses, by faith left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; persevered because he saw Him who is invisible.

• By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were drowned.

What’s Your Situation Today? There is nothing our God cannot do! Trust that He is faithful and can deliver you out of “anything,” because you have made a decision to trust him and in return; He has judged you as an heir. Heir to His power, authority and righteousness, which is by faith—You have been Acquitted, (free from all charges by a verdict of not guilty...for life!

What’s God’s His track record in your own life?
You, and I all know that situations could have turned out, way-y to the left….but God!!

•By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days.

•By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies in peace, did not perish with those who were disobedient.

What else can I say? Time will not allow me to tell of all the saints of old—Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; shut the mouths of lions, quenched raging fires, and escaped the edge of the sword; those who gained strength from weakness, became mighty in battle, and put foreign armies to flight. Included in this, is the proof and track record, that God has no rival or equal!

His Word IS his bond
the final say on any matter!
