Leadership Accountability within the Administration of a Kingdom “Business”
Let me first establish my legitimate, responsibility, and right, to influence behavior...having been granted me, by the Sovereign, Chief CEO—the Creator and Sustainer of all things.
My responsibility is to administrate, not as “superior,” but as a "fellow Business and Ministry leader."
To Kingdom leaders in the marketplace…I strongly encourage, and remind you, that I am also one with the same “challenges,” and hardships when influencing the status quo, of kingdom leaders in the marketplace—those challenges that may arise when operating a business according to biblical principles and for Kingdom glory.”
However, I must speak the proverbial wisdom, that constitutes divine, actionable insight for moral operation, stewardship, and leadership, rather than mere human intellectualism;” especially when contrasting worldly business wisdom, with that of seeing life from God’s perspective. (Kingdom)
🚩Kingdom Leaders must take the oversight of any Kingdom venture, including the church, “willingly"…and of a "ready mind; not forced; but as fervent, non-lukewarm, pursuit of its mission and business goals, that moves you from planning to action— (Romans 12:11.)
🚩Kingdom Leaders must be ready and willing to serve the Kingdom, not just with good intentions, nor with an expectation of “only” being promoted by men, but elevated by God; for “genuine promotion,” is from Him…
🚩Kingdom Leaders, must “avoid dishonest and eager gain,” leading just for money, but serve from a pure spirit, dedicated to pursuing Kingdom purpose vision, and initiatives.
🚩Kingdom Leaders must not be dictators and tyrants, demanding submission to “you,” rather than the mission; but being examples as influencers to others—leading through positive, bold and moral behaviors, rather than by coercion and arrogance.
🚩Kingdom Leaders must model a lifestyle that is reputable, sober-minded, and self-controlled, so others can emulate their behavior, rather than raw, cultural constraints. (1 Timothy 3:2-3) (1 Peter 5:1-3)
This approach emphasizes humility, service, and “Authentic Leadership,” over “position-based” authority!
One day, the "Sovereign, Chief of Staff," is going to appear and there will be a reckoning with those who profess that the work is all done for the “Kingdom’s purposes.”
This is a sobering thought, for those of us in “Kingdom Leadership.”
