THE OFFSPRINGs (seeds) OF GOD’S WORD—sown with possibilities…
YOU AND I ARE THE “SEEDS” OF JEHOVAH GOD; WHO IS THE SOWER…WE ARE HIS OFFSPRINGS—His spiritual heirs, and part of Abraham's lineage, through faith in Christ! We have been impregnated with the possibilities of the God of ALL possibilities.
However, to experience these possibilities, requires surrendering your own plans and desires to God, trusting that His power will work when you align with His will.
In summary, to make a long story short, God sent forth His word and healed them, delivering them from their destruction.“(Psalm 107:20).
This highlights the power of God's word, whether spoken or written, to bring healing and restoration to individuals suffering from illness or other perils.
God's word, sent as “RHEMA,” (inspired truth), brings healing and deliverance, but we must position ourselves to receive it.
Some of you were sick because of how you’d lived, and your bodies felt the effects of sin. Then you called out to God in your desperate condition; He spoke the word that healed you, and pulled you back from the brink of death. So thank God for His marvelous love, for his miracle mercy to you; the one’s He loves! So offer thanksgiving and tell the world what He’s done—sing it out!
* The Sower represents God or those whom He has appointed and anointed, to preach the message of the Kingdom of God.
* The Seed represents the Word of God, or the messages of the Kingdom.
* The Soil represents the human heart and the different types of ways, how His word is received.
The offspring, is a result of that which develops or branches off from its main source—“The Seed.”
This new growth has in it, all the potential for the God-Life, (the essence of life itself), and will yield your future.
This “offspring" is then called a descendant of God, and will then grow into good, ripe non-perishable, ”seeds of life!”
Incorruptible and Imperishable Seed
This divine, incorruptible, imperishable, everlasting "seed of life”—cannot be corrupted, decayed, or destroyed, unlike “perishable” seeds; which can only produce temporary, life!
When the seed of the Word of God is planted in a person’s heart, it regenerates the soul, creating a new spiritual life that is eternal, unchangeable, and will lead to a living hope and an incorruptible inheritance of enduring spiritual life, as a result of one’s receiving the seed-word.
1 Peter 1:23 speaks of believers being "born again,” not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God.
In the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:3-8), Jesus explains that "the seed is the living, breathing, word of God!
However, the human heart's condition, determines how effectively the "seed" of God's Word is received and bears fruit.
THE VARIOUS "SOILS"
—by the wayside; (dropped along the path, and then, though neglect or disuse is pushed aside, abandoned, and fails to succeed)
—in rocky soil, (a shallow heart: a high proportion of rocks, gravel, or stones mixed in, making it difficult for roots to penetrate and limiting plant growth, the seed of the word is initially received with joy, but lack spiritual depth, causing the word that was sown, to wither and die when faced with trouble)
—In thorny soil, (competing priorities): receives the seed of God’s word, but “priorities” compete with God's word: such as worries and cares of life, deceitfulness of pursuing riches and material wealth, desires for lusts and pleasures, produces no fruit to maturity), or
—in good soil, the soil receives the "seed" of God's word, understands it, and produces a fruitful harvest—
These all represent different responses to the Gospel: some being taken away immediately when sown, some failing becomes one gives up or stops trying because of difficulty or a lack of hope, (persecution), some being choked out (by worldly desires), and others being fully understood and producing a crop of fruit. (good soil)
In beginning was the word, and the word was “with” God, and… (tadahhh), the word WAS GOD! (John 1:1)
It is the foundational verse in Christianity that identifies Jesus Christ, referred to as the "Word" or Logos, as divine, pre-existent, and the agent of creation.
Impact on the Word on a Heart
Like a physical seed, God's word, when planted in good soil (an honest and good heart), can produce a lasting spiritual harvest.
AS A RESULT, YOU SHOULD NEVER AGAIN LIVE A MEDIOCRE, BORING, UNFULFILLING LIFE!
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed!" (Galatians 3:29)
As “believers in Christ,” you become spiritual descendants of Abraham, inheriting God's promises and blessings, through your union with Christ, who is the original "seed" of Abraham.
This spiritual inheritance is not based on “physical” lineage but on a “lineage of faith,” making believers “heirs” of God and joint-heirs with Christ.
As heirs, you have a profound spiritual connection with God, where you become rightful and authoritative owners of all that belongs to God.
THIS EARTH IS THE LORDS, THE WORLD, AND THEY THAT DWELL IN IT, FOR HE FOUNDED IT (…)
However, He also says that, “My people “perish” because of the “lack” of that knowledge, because the “knowledge of that truth”—is REJECTED, (not received), by them! Even though He sent His word to do exactly this…”to deliver them from all that made them unloving, unproductive…and fearful!”
The Significance of “The Seed and the Sower,” for 2025
Receptivity: The success of the Gospel depends on the hearer's heart.
Fruitfulness: Only those with "good soil" will produce spiritual fruit, demonstrating a genuine and lasting faith.
The Warning: It serves as a warning for everyone, to understand the conditions of their own heart and to recognize the obvious obstacles—persecution, and worldly distractions, that can hinder their faith.
Encouragement: It encourages people to cultivate their hearts to be like the good soil, so the Word of God can flourish and make a lasting impact.
TO SUMMARIZE:
“A person’s reception of God's Word is determined by the condition of their “OWN” heart; which will either produce life or death!
