Christianity or Churchianity
|Churchianity is not Christianity! |
It is now time to rip the band-aid off of “repackaged” Christianity!!
Ripping the band-aid off of a sore nerve, which will reveal the truth about who the church is, and perform a painful and unpleasant, but necessary action quickly; so as to minimize the pain or fear associated with it.
A church is a great institution when it causes people to know and worship Christ. However, God’s redemption story (Christianity), has been repackaged into a self-help program that has some Christian flavor, but is stripped of salvation’s true meaning. It is usually referred to as Cultural Christianity or “Churchianity!
Churchianity — is not a real word as such, but it is a real action. It is a usually excessive or cultural attachment to the practices and interests of a particular church. It defines one who habitually attends church, but he only practices churchianity.
It involves any “practices of Christianity,” that place a larger emphasis on the habits of church life or the institutional traditions of the church, rather than on “the theology and spiritual teachings of Jesus”; it is being too church-focused.
Churchianity, is another word for “cultural christianity,” which teaches a watered-down, man-centered “gospel” of self-help, prosperity, and self-worship, and is a false message that is broadcast under the guise of spirituality and sprinkled with fragments of bible verses that many people are fooled into believing, is the gospel Jesus preached.
Usually, churchianity draws people to an institution. Christianity on the other hand, draws people to Christ. Churchianity, while it is a noble gesture, which looks and feels self-righteously good—the end result will be disappointment; and those who follow this path, will experience a place called the lake of fire, as described by biblical scriptures.
But for the fearful, (cowardly) and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers,
and fornicators, (sexually immoral ), and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars;
their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. (we know this as“Hell”) Rev 21:8
Churchianity is attractive to those who do not know their Bibles. Churchianity assures people that they are right with God because they listen to sermons, or keep certain rules, or attend meetings in a church building. Churchianity produces nominal Christians, who fall under the same condemnation as the religious leaders of Jesus’ day.
These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’
You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions. . . .
You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! (Mt. 15:8)
Biblical Christianity, on the other hand is a commitment to the Person and work of Jesus Christ, even when that commitment requires us to carry a cross, sacrifice our own desires, and count the cost of following. A biblical, Christian believer — is one who submits to the authority of God and His word!
Only the parameters of Biblical Christianity will get you into the dwelling place of God; the place called Heaven, that many have a supposition that they, and there love ones, will go.
“and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
‘He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,’and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain,
for the former things have passed away.” (Rev.21:3)
✝️ Prophetic View:
Jehovah God “powers” this earth! Nobody else does…regardless of their wealth status! Plug into His Power!
If you insist on being “empowered” on a carnal, human frequency, rather than through the spirit of God—you will be like those rats that were seduced by the Pied Piper; who attracted them to follow and offered them strong, but delusive enticement through charisma and false promises. He promised the mayor, a town suffering from a rat infestation, a solution to their problem with the rats. The mayor in turn, promised to pay him for the removal of the rats.”
He indeed led away the rats from the town of Hamelin and when He was refused payment for his services, he led away “children” and disappeared with them in the mountains.
So if you are naming the name of Christ, and expect to get into God’s place of abode, called Heaven, you will have to consider which position and path, you have taken. It can be costly.
God does not change His word or position because of those who think they know a better way. Isn’t that what Satan himself thought, and attempted to do and was stripped of his glory as the “light-bringer,” for attempting to change the mandates… as he attempted to usurp authority over the Almighty God?
You and I, and every human on this earth, regardless of statue in life, must regroup and go back to doing the “first works” again; (love and obedience) to God’s truths found in His word.
We must receive and do, the whole counsel of God. It is our own individual responsibility to get… and stay aligned with the plans, and purposes of the Almighty God, the one in which we will ultimately have to face.
None of us want any surprises when we stand before the living Almighty God! He will never, ever change His word and principles! Our redemption is waiting. This indeed is the good news of the Kingdom to everyone above ground!
First things First:
✝️ You must be born-again!
✝️ You must be born into the church from above.
✝️ You must receive the spiritual gift of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said:
"I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the
Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again. (John 3)
Through faith in Christ, we can be spiritually prepared and cleansed from sin, immersed in and saturated with His gospel, and purified and sealed by the Holy Spirit of Promise. If you want to have eternal life, you need the Holy Spirit to give you the spiritual birth.
This is the moment of conversion when you go from being spiritually dead to spiritually alive through Christ.
